A Day Beneath The Sky
(On a breezy day I decided to vent out. It was a usual stressful day for me but something unusual happened that day which gave me the strength to deal with the depressing situation I was going through. I portrayed that day in my poem "A day beneath the sky")
Once on the open ground, I sat
paved with the fresh green grass mat
Under the parabolic wrought roof of blue sky
The blowing wind kissed my cheeks and made me shy
As I took the crisp wind inside me
It led all my problems to flee
I lay down on the fresh green grass mat
Far most cozy to sleep at
I feel my heart while it adores me in the blue gown I wore
In a rough ride giving me signals to love myself more
In stargaze position, I lay to enjoy the birds that flew
My vision got stuck on the upward magnificent unobstructed view
I look deep into its abysmal depth
And got lost in soul-searching in-depth
My eyes couldn't resist averting my gaze
My thoughts started wandering in a daze
The chirping of birds soon fades away
I couldn't hear visitors sway
I became unconscious of my surroundings
Completely unaware of all the happenings
White cotton tucked in a blue celestial sphere is all I could see
Gee, I guessed I found my long-gone glee!
The waves of tranquility prevail all over me
From all sorts of stress, my soul got free
A feeling of relief rushed as my vision penetrates deeper
Feel sure, mother nature is a splendid sorrow sweeper!
For hours I stayed up lost in the mesmeric skyscape
Perhaps from all the life's hustle, I was trying to escape
The blowing wind brought dried leaves to my face
Awaking me from the state of euphoria with grace
Arguably revealing to me how to levitate in life like dried leaves
Which even after being called duff flies with its beliefs
Who once in the lap of its tree was completely unaware it too could fly
Over the fact of being dumped in the mud very soon, it doesn't cry
The faded world return back to life
With gloominess my heart was no more rife
The chirping of the birds return
I could see children playing in their turn
Picking up my Dan Brown's tome
I got up to go back home
The sky bowl with cotton-like clouds was still there
For relieving my stress I can always come to him, he was telling me somewhere
With admiration, I glaze up to wave him bye
Really how soothing it is to glaze at the sky!
Sky in blue, decorated with a visible mass of miniature liquid!
The memory I have of this day is very vivid
For the last time, I stared up with a sigh
Really how seren it is to stare at the sky!
Sky in blue, decorated with a visible mass of frozen crystals!
Beneath the sky every problem is dismissals!
Though tenseness remained within me I return home with a pleasant feeling
The way Most Gracious' creation has served me was very appealing
Forever I will cherish the lesson it has taught
Never I will forget the feeling the day has brought
